It is unbelievable that this issue still exists. Neither Adobe nor Microsoft bother, at least so it seems. The issue is many years old and nothing has happened.
I work with Adobe/ PDF files a lot: saving information/ texts from the internet as PDF, saving MS Word, Excel etc. files as PDF, etc. And every ******* time I open a PDF on my computer I have to open properties, change open with, apply, ok. Only then can I work with Adobe PDF files with all its tools - which are absent in the Edge PDFs. In the mean time I have done all proposed solutions, settings in Chrome and other browsers, change default settings and file associations, change the registry, etc., etc., but none of these work. I have paid for my Adobe DC program, and I want it to work properly with its tools, but it doesn't because of the criminal arrogance of Microsoft with its Edge. It is so frustrating and it makes me very angry. Yes, Adobe should sue Microsoft, rather sooner than later. Via Control Panel you can uninstall Edge, but I am not sure what will happen if I do that. Any ideas?

When will ADOBE take action taking into account the numerous comments that **** the so-called "new" utterly worthless interface?

Why oh why must we always do or make something new, even if it is taking a step back? In the case of the new Acrobat interface it more like a hundred or more steps back. Why change what works well? Because it's trendy to change something, change for the sake of change not matter what? Because we want to change without thinking?
The new interface is just the result of some random bad ideas put into an interface that doesn't work, it's confusing and no good.

I guess the best thing about this new failed interface is that we now can switch back to the old interface.
