Seconding this, it's very odd and annoying that clicking the 1mm of space above the tab doesn't change to that tab unless you move the mouse down a few mm, as clicking ability extending to the top of the screen is a pretty standard format for applications that use tabs, even ones that do have that mm or 2 of padding visually (such as the current version of Google Chrome)
