    What's not to like:

    - Tiny blurred icons
    - Floating toolbar in document area
    - Cannot dock toolbar in horizontal area (where it used to be
    - Tabs and other controls in the window titlebar
    - All previous customizations blown away on upgrade

    This UI refresh seems to value vertical space at the expense of horizontal content space. I can see some benefit for small laptops but vertical space was never an issue if you had a larger screen - can't you accomodate both? Firefox and many other apps manage this as a user setting.

    Also the monochrome icons are too small and have no text - made even worse by the long delay in tooltips appearing.
