    It also happened to me on W11. If I open the exe direcrtly as administrator, this popup does not appear, but as a regular user and when clicking PDFs , this happens EVRY time. What can be done?

    I installed a fresh reasder and when I do not open the reader as asdmin, I get the welcome screen and feature explanation everytime PDF reader is freshly opened after 7-10 seconds!
    Non of the registry entries helped.
    You cannot escape it away and must click 3 times something before this goes. Was there a mistake in installing it on the PC? As admin or not? In my user folder?
    I will try to reinstall in my user folder and see
