STOP POP-UPS opening advertising acrobat features after document is opened
After I open a pdf, A pop-up appears to "advertise' some particular feature such as 'fill & sign' for example. This is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Also highly UNPROFESSIONAL as occurs during a potential client presentation.
Please DISABLE THIS IMMEDIATELY. We pay for the product - NOT for ADOBE advertise itself during my time.

This x 100. I don't need to be reminded of every feature of Adobe Acrobat because I use it every day and don't need to be reminded.
You need to give pro-users a way to turn this off.
Change the UI/UX into a proper pro interface with pallets etc whileyou're at it.
Leave these huge icons for the reader and web interface. -

Pop-ups might be useful once but are very distracting and irritating afterwards. Please disable them or offer a preference to turn them off. Thank you.

I could not agree more. I have the same problem that whenever I start Adobe Acrobat DC for Mac a pop-up upselling a feature appears, indeed such as 'fill & sign'. I pay a sizeable, annual fee for this product and not for advertising. Apparently this annoying problem has not been resolved yet. How can I suppress this popping up of unwanted advertising on Adobe Acrobat DC for Mac?

Here's what worked for me on Windows 10 (64 bit) -
1. Open RegEdit and Navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown2. Add a new DWORD (32-bit) Value:
bAcroSuppressUpsell3. Set Value data:
1With all due respect to Adobe, upsell features such as these should not pop-up more than once, especially for paying subscribers as myself. It is disrespectful in my opinion. Adobe is not the only game in town. There are alot of other great (cheaper) programs which have perpetual licensing and don't annoy customers (I also use NitroPDF).
Users should have the option to "Dismiss", which dismisses the advertisement forever, or "Remind Me Later". Something to think about, and pass up the chain.
