Same same same!!! I am SICK of AI being shoved down my throat when I do not need it or want it. Please resolve this asap. It's been almost a year since this original post was made, and this is still a problem. Come on, there's no excuse for this. I'm a professional programmer by trade, and making this tweak cannot possibly be that difficult. Disabling the Generative AI setting in the preferences should remove all instances of buttons, pop ups, etc. etc.
