    Are you a medical student as well? So many medical students are requesting this feature! Microsoft's OneNote just won't cut it. We have to many books and resources we must process and annotate through rapidly. Adobe Acrobat Pro is the best solution and adding better highlighter color accessibility (like an always visible color palette like in photoshop) and maybe increasing the amount of custom colors would greatly streamline note taking flow! Also adding a color matcher/eye dropper and a format painter/copy/paste would help a ton!!
