    This should not be anonymous. My name is Kent Barber, I am the poster of this issue. I develop software to export out 3D PDF files from Cinema 4D. This bug is seriously impacting on the quality of files my users are able to make. It is also impacting seriously on using PDF documents as a viable form of 3D distribution. All due to this one decision to disable Hardware acceleration.
