It's a work around, but not a solution.
The Red Out Loud feature is clunky and inefficient.
    Here are some issues:
-It skips over areas or jumps around if graphics/tables are involved,
-It only reads portions of selected text instead of the all the text highlighted
-It re-reads items from the begining when you're trying to get it to only read ONE word.
-You can't get it to begin reading midway through a paragraph or sentence
-Turning on/off the function is not easily accessible via a right click or quick key
-Also super annoying that the Speech speed/voice/etc is set WITHIN Acrobat. Acrobat should utilize already established system setting (Under Accessibility/Speech) instead of changing the setting and preference lingo (Words per minute?!?! vs "Slow/Normal/Fast" slide bar)

Understandable it's a different software, but review Google Chrome's
(Version 69.0.3497.100) right clickable "Start Speaking" tool
It's simple, easy to use and works great every time.
