resolution
When using Acrobat two lines stacked closely together look blurry. We recognize this is a resolution issue, we'd like the ability to up the document resolution so we can avoid this blurriness.

Read Aloud is Not Following Reading Order
Despite spending hours rearranging text elements in an interactive PDF exported from InDesign (both InDesign and Acrobat up to date as of March 2026), the read aloud feature is not following the reading order. It's also breaking up sentences despite there being no break in the tagged area.
It took so long to get elements in the right order. It's also incredibly frustrating having to save a new backup after every 5 pages because Acrobat's Reading Order panel is so buggy and unreliable. On top of that, it doesn't even have a single undo function, let alone multiple undoes.

Tooltip
In the Accessibility tool - Cannot click on menu item below because the tool tip covers it, tool tip should be kicked off to the side, not covering other menu items. You go to click on something and the tooltip from above pops up and you have to take the mouse and hover away for it to disappear in order to click on what you wanted to - cumbersome and frustrating.

Can't grab and move window
There is no room at the top bar to grab the window and move it. Remove all the useless stuff there, please. The screens are huge nowadays, why do you still have to make everything smaller and smaller or hide it entirely. Sheesh.

Acrobat Reading Order matches Source Program Reading Order
All of our PDFs need to be accessible to people with disabilities. For each PDF we need to generate a report in Acrobat that proves that the document is accessible. One area that isn't working well is the reading order.
Currently Acrobat's reading order means a computer reading order. We need a disability reading order. Acrobat's reading order is generated by the reverse of the layers panel in the source program where the document is designed. If we want to check the disability reading order we have to go to the tags panel and click on ever single line.

Accessibility Features converting wrong from Word to PDF
Formerly we would save from Word to PDF Using "Save As" - Options - PDF/A and the accessible settings would hold.
Currently that is not true and creates additional errors. If we save using the generic "Save as Adobe PDF" the Accessible features carry over fine.
We have documentation out on the first procedure so it would be nice to have it fixed. It worked wonderfully in the past.

Duplicating tags
The process for creating an accurate and PDF/UA proficient structure for example a list involves <L> -> <Li> -> <Lbl>, <LBody>. This is for ONE list item and a list rarely consist of just one list item so the three tags have to be created for each one. To get these items you need to right click, choose List item, click OK, right click choose Label, click OK, right click choose List item body, click OK, drag and drop List item body into <Li> and then drag and drop <LBody> into <Li>. This is just for the structure, then you…

Simplify the software and focus on making PDF handling fast
I think the software is trying to do too much at once. It feels slow, overly complicated, and the file sizes are often unnecessarily large. I work with PDFs every day as an architect, so I’m not new to this workflow.
From my perspective, PDFs are mainly for sharing drawings digitally or printing them. We already use CAD software for creating and editing. I don’t personally need advanced PDF features like drawing, measuring, or heavy editing tools built into the viewer.
I understand that other professions rely on PDFs for forms, signatures, annotations, and document management, so I can see…

I would love to see the possibility for a multi-login.
I would love to have the ability to log in with two different accounts at the same time and use them side by side. At the moment, it’s not possible to be logged into two separate Adobe accounts simultaneously. I work as a self‑employed professional and have my own account, but I also work with a client’s account. This means I have to switch between both accounts multiple times a day.

Improve accessibility checks/fixes
Acrobat Pro should be able to find all accessibility errors and suggest a fix for each one, with a button to fix it, similar to find/replace in a document. When I use Acrobat Pro, it finds some of the accessibility errors, but no option to fix them. When I put it into PAC for the final check, it finds more errors so I am spending hours on each document that our agency posts online.

compare tool
When comparing, it used to be that only the characters that had been changed would be highlighted but now it highlights the entire line which causes confusion. We'd like to have it go back to being just the changed characters being highlighted.
Thank you!

Can't close the help window, which wasn't helpful
Uhm, let me think... Oh yeah, how about putting an f'n "X" in the upper right hand corner of the window so I can close it? If you need my help for that idea you will begin to understand how bad your software is.

A VERSION THAT DOESN'T HAVE AI
Would be great to have a version that wasn't trying to force AI on you... Can those who want AI features use an AI version, and keep the base version without AI?

Alt text in PDFs is read incompletely or incorrectly in the new Acrobat version.
When creating a PDF from InDesign with properly applied, long alt text (including text attached to paths), the issue appears after opening the file in Acrobat with the new version enabled and using a screen reader or the Read Aloud feature. The expected result is that the alt text is read fully, in the correct order, and without omissions, exactly as defined in InDesign. However, the observed result is that Acrobat cuts off the text after the first part, skips information, or reads it incorrectly. This problem does not occur in the classic version of Acrobat, where the alt text…

After that last update, converting a word doc to pdf is resulting in tagging errors. Specifically, normal text is tagged as headings, heading tags do not follow how the word document was tagged.

Cursor Flickering in Adobe Acrobat Pro with Enlarged Cursor
This issue appears to be related to cursor behavior when accessibility settings are enabled. For accessibility reasons, the Windows cursor size is set to 9 (enlarged). When using Adobe Acrobat Pro, moving the cursor over a PDF document or navigating between form fields causes the cursor to rapidly switch to the hourglass/working icon, especially when hovering over text fields. This constant flickering and icon change is distracting and makes it difficult to work comfortably.
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, but the issue still occurs:
- Adjusted Adobe Acrobat Preferences
- Changed Windows OS settings (animations turned off)
- Reset the…

Modernize and consolidate the Accessibility tagging features in Acrobat
Make it easier to use Acrobat's accessibility interface.
Make a keyboard shortcut to add New Tags or add multiple tags.
REMOVE "AUTO TAG DOCUMENT" FROM IMMEDIATELY BELOW "NEW TAG." Or at least add a confirmation that you want to Auto Tag.
Allow us to UNDO Auto Tagging. (Auto tagging sucks, by the way)
Maybe read and apply all of the feature requests and bug reports that will improve the accessibility features instead of sitting on them for 10+ years?
Merge the reading order and tag panel so that they're not always glitching each other. Making changes to the reading order…1 vote -
BUG: Titles Fail Accessibility Check
Document titles consistently fail the accessibility check when a title is already present.
This happens to me and my peer. We use InDesign 2026 to generate PDFs and the current version of Acrobat 2025.001.20997 fails the title every single time. It also seems to fail the title on documents created with MS Word.
The fix is to open File > Properties, cut the title, OK out of the dialog, open File > Properties again, and paste the title back in. Then it quits failing the title.
This is an annoying bug that should be fixed.

Accessible PDF form not working with NVDA in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2025
I have created a PDF form using Adobe Acrobat Pro and tagged every form manually to ensure that the NVDA user can fill out the form without accessibility issues, but NVDA does not interact with the form fields and user can not enter the text in the fields. If users use the Arrow key, NVDA reads all the text on the form but when using the Tab key for navigation, focus does not move and NVDA does not announce anything.
