Accessibility Features converting wrong from Word to PDF
Formerly we would save from Word to PDF Using "Save As" - Options - PDF/A and the accessible settings would hold.
Currently that is not true and creates additional errors. If we save using the generic "Save as Adobe PDF" the Accessible features carry over fine.
We have documentation out on the first procedure so it would be nice to have it fixed. It worked wonderfully in the past.

A VERSION THAT DOESN'T HAVE AI
Would be great to have a version that wasn't trying to force AI on you... Can those who want AI features use an AI version, and keep the base version without AI?

Spanish translation issue in Acrobat Accessibility options in the Spanish version.
In the Spanish version of Adobe Acrobat, the option corresponding to
“Change only black text and line art” is translated as:“Cambiar solo el color del texto negro o arte lineal”
The use of “o” (or) is misleading. It suggests an alternative or exclusive choice, while the original English text clearly refers to both elements together (“text and line art”).
This wording creates confusion for users and makes it difficult to understand how this option interacts with the following one (“Change line art as well as text”).
Suggested fix: replace “o” with “y”, or rephrase the Spanish text to explicitly…

Switching Tabs in Full Screen Mode Exits Full Screen
When Acrobat is placed in full screen and multiple PDFs are open in tabs, everything works correctly at first — new files open as additional tabs within the same full-screen window. However, when switching between these tabs (for example, clicking from one document tab to another), Acrobat immediately exits full screen and reverts to a standard desktop window.
This behaviour breaks macOS’s Spaces workflow, which is essential for professionals who rely on full-screen app management and gesture-based navigation between programs. It only occurs in Acrobat; other apps remain stable in full screen on Tahoe.
The issue appears to have started…

Focus does not move to Customize Field controls
In Adobe Sign, when a keyboard or AT user activates the Customize Field control, a dialog appears on the left-hand side of the screen (Customize Field dialog). Keyboard focus does not reliably move to this dialog - it appears to land on Required Field, but pressing tab returns the users to navigating through fields. Keyboard users are not able to access the customize field controls as navigating to them via TAB and Shift+Tab changes the selected field, thus altering the contents of the customize field dialog.

Switch User
Hi Team, Please consider enabling the “Switch User” option in the Acrobat for Business desktop application. This would allow the business team to effectively use a shared system and improve operational flexibility.
Thank you.1 vote -
Option to hide pages and bookmarks panels by default when opening a document
There should be a default setting to hide pages and bookmarks when I open a document. I don't use the functions and don't find them useful. I shouldn't need to close these panels every time I open a document. I don't care what the document properties are.

Bug: Link Tag structure reversal on export
Bug/issue: Tagged Link structure reversed when exporting from InDesign 2026 to PDF - Windows.
We have a hyperlinked grouped object in InDesign 2026, when exporting this to PDF the Tag structure makes the <Link> tag the child of the parent <Figure> (which is incorrect), whereas when the same file is converted and exported from InDesign 2025, it makes the <Figure> the child of the parent <Link> (which is correct).
This is causing an accessibility failure, and we have 300 to manually correct in our PDF document which is time consuming, and we don't want to convert the file should anything…

Produce a fully accessible, tagged PDF with alt text directly from a web page
Tagged PDF with alt-text is required under accessibility rules and many laws. When creating a PDF from a Webpage, using the Enhanced engine under the advanced options, the resulting PDF is untagged, and thus inaccessible. When using the Classic engine it results in a Tagged PDF, but Alt-text for images does not convert.
This means it is not possible to create an accessible Tagged PDF from a Webpage using the Adobe software.
My request is for a Create PDF from Webpage ability to produce a fully accessible, tagged PDF with alt text directly from a web page.1 vote -

BUG: Titles Fail Accessibility Check
Document titles consistently fail the accessibility check when a title is already present.
This happens to me and my peer. We use InDesign 2026 to generate PDFs and the current version of Acrobat 2025.001.20997 fails the title every single time. It also seems to fail the title on documents created with MS Word.
The fix is to open File > Properties, cut the title, OK out of the dialog, open File > Properties again, and paste the title back in. Then it quits failing the title.
This is an annoying bug that should be fixed.
