PDF Maker: New Bug puts <Figure> tags in the wrong reading order
Affects Windows Office users who use Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker (the Acrobat ribbon) to export PDFs from MS Office apps. Definitely affects US English versions, and may affect other language versions.
With the recent Acrobat update on either Sept. 12 or Oct. 17, 2023 (Acrobat ver. 23.006.xxxxx with PDF Maker 23 and Library 23.6.136), figures anchored in the Word.docx file do not end up in the correct location in the PDF's tag tree.
<Figure> tags are scattered randomly throughout the PDF's Tag Tree, sometimes several pages AFTER their anchor point in the Word.docx. Some <Figure> tags do get placed correctly…

PDF forms using JAWS and NVDA Screen readers with latest Acrobat update
With the latest update of Acrobat (2024.002.20895) I have been experiencing issues reading, completing, and interacting with PDF forms using both JAWS and NVDA screen readers. The screen reader keeps leaving forms mode when I'm in fields. Instead of typing into the field, it recognizes my keystrokes as JAWS commands. For example, when I try to type "Henry" in a Name field, pressing "H" makes it jump to the next heading in the document instead of typing the character(s). I have confirmed that I am in forms mode (both visually and via the sound the screen reader makes when entering…

PUT THE TOOLS BACK THE WAY THEY WERE.
Put the ******* toolbars back. Move the Left sidebar BACK onto the right side. Put the right sidebar BACK onto the left.
Stop ******* with things that aren't broken. It makes me hate your products more than I already do. Knock it off, and stop breaking **** that doesn't need to break just so you can keep your miserable jobs.

Can't Find First/Last Page Buttons
Where are those buttons hiding now? There should be buttons to take you to the first or last page of a document. Previously you had to turn them on, but I can't find where to turn them on now with this awful UI. Someone mentioned finding a way to put it back to the old UI, how is that done?

Keep the Toolbar in the same location across operating systems
I recently purchased a MacBook as an upgrade from my Dell but I'm curious to know the reasoning behind the different tool bar locations on the different operating systems? When using my (latest version) of Acrobat on my PC I am able to have the tools pinned to the top, whereas in the Apple version, they are floating on the left and scattered throughout the bar on the right (with no particular placement in regards to customer usage).
Obviously, changing tool locations can throw anyone off, but it's not the change that is frustrating, it's the fact that these locations…

Made an acct just to point out how horrible this update is.
Everything is horrible about this! I've had so many issues with Adobe since the new update! It's like they targeted for people to have a horrible experience with Adobe. I'm forced to use it though the company I work for bc they purchase these licenses. From constantly getting kicked out of my account, to my signatures getting erased, and now I can't combine my files. This new Adobe deserves an award for worst update of the century.

Constantly freezes and crashes
Adobe constantly crashes and freezes. I pay for a subscription and I am very very close to canceling it. It is ridiculous that I can't even do my job and pay out the *** for something that doesn't work. VERY FRUSTRATED!

Search marks on scroll bar when using the find-in-text tool (ctrl + F)
Implementing a feature in Adobe Acrobat that displays search markers on the scroll bar would be an excellent addition. This functionality is already available in many internet browsers and several PDF viewers. As shown in the attached screenshot, this feature enables users to see where in the document search matches are located.
This feature is highly useful for quick navigation, contextual awareness, time-saving, and improved productivity. Adding this to Acrobat Reader could greatly enhance the user experience.

Option to override all initial view parameters of the pdf file
I would like an option in Acrobat preferences which permit to override all the "initial view" properties of the pdf document.
My wish is at least to be able to override the "windows centered" parameter , as it's very annoying to have the acrobat window moved to the middle of the screen when opening certain PDFs with this option enabled.2 votes -

PDFs open slowly or not at all with new WIN11 update
I used to be able to open PDF files quickly in Adobe Acrobat before my WIN11 update, but now they require 30-60 seconds to open, or sometimes they don't open at all. It doesn't matter what program I'm trying to open them from - either Outlook or Explorer -- it takes forever.

<Lbl> accessibility check
According to the PDF Association Syntax Guide Page 26 (https://pdfa.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/TaggedPDFBestPracticeGuideSyntax.pdf#page=26), and <Lbl> tag should be applied to any labelling text, even if it is inside a caption for a figure or table. However, every time I run the accessibility check in Acrobat Pro on this, it fails it; it appears the check thinks that only LItems should contain an <Lbl> as a child.
Additionally, I think <Lbl>s should be allowed as the children of Paragraph tags as well, in the case where a single paragraph is labelled but the labelling text is not indicating the start of a…
