Hi,
Could you please follow the steps in the below article to use the email icon to send PDF directly as email attachment.

An error occurred while saving the comment Peter commentedI agree, with all the spam/phishing emails out there asking you to click a link, I wouldn't click on it. I just want to click on the email button and have it open a new email in Outlook, to many steps now.

I opened a pdf from a different email, didn't save it and re-mailed it without saving.
Not sure why your's is differnt.
