For me, the problem is with the final message "Adobe Acrobat has finished searching the document. No more matches were found." Yes, I'm always hitting <ESC> because that's what I do to exit the Search dialog prior to getting that message. Allowing <ESC> to exit the message box would make things easier for the user. I'm pretty sure older versions of Acrobat Reader operated this way. Please bring back <ESC> to exit the Search message box.
