   Hi Locksley,

   Acrobat Reader mobile apps for iOS and Android do not support the special type of PDF called static/dynamic XFA form.

   Please see the following Adobe LiveCycle blog that was written in year 2014.

   We are not aware of any change of plan in the near future.

   Why is it impossible to open an interactive PDF file created using an Adobe product in iOS using another Adobe product (Adobe Reader)? Using latest versions of everything. PDF created using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0. Generates PDF version 1.7 Adobe Extension Level 8 (Acrobat X). In iOS it fails to open. Are there other LiveCycle settings that would generate an interactive PDF that WILL work?

   Need to be able fill in data on an interactive form and save it with the data entered to later attach to email.

   Any suggestions?
