  1. How come recent files, don't actually show the most recent file?

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.

    You can see your most recent files when you click on home at top left corner and under Recent the recent used files are displayed.

    Except they are not displayed, which is why the OP posted. Your stating that they are, doesn't resolve the issue that they are not. It's very frustrating, seems like a simple functionality. A year later and it still isn't resolved! See attached. Do the open files vs the recent files look the same to you? Close, and reopen - the list is the same, except those most recently opened files are not what appears.
