    I have the same issue. The product I have is Acrobat 10, my system was crashed and OS was re-installed, so was Acrobat, But when I start the Acrobat. it soon closes out with no error message.

    Would like to try various method provided in this thread, but it didn't. Having question on where do I see c:/Programdata/Adobe, I don't see ProgramData folder under C: drive.

    Please help
