  2. No updates have been made since Adobe Acrobat DC Pro 20643. Error message 105 appears.

    „Unable to connect to the Adobe update server. Check that you are connected to the internet and try again. 
Error: 105“

    I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, reinstalled it and received version 20693. The update function does not work here either.

  3. Currently, Acrobat updates don’t show up in the Creative Cloud app like they do for Photoshop or Premiere Pro. You can manually check for updates inside Acrobat, but it doesn’t always show an update, and there’s no popup or alert in either the Acrobat app or CC to notify you when one is available. It's a very annoying experience overall.

    It would be much easier if Acrobat updates appeared directly in the Creative Cloud app, so all apps could be updated together and users would get notified. Alternatively, Acrobat could provide its own update notifications within the app, like how…

  4. Microsoft blocked-off standard users being able to add features later (to the installation from CCDA - eg PreFlight to allow production and verification of PDF/A). This was by blocking MSI repair and feature additions for standard users. MSI being run by SYSTEM/local admin from a full installer and configured to simply pre-install everything does work (eg ADDLOCAL=ALL).

    We have now deployed the 64-bit installer as enterprise-managed, as all-inclusive, as above.

    Also, we need to either:

    • Hide the CCDA installation of Acrobat Pro (because the default does not include all features)
    OR
    • Have the CCDA configurable to install all…

  7. install a horrible resource hog at best, nefarious often app on my computer again and we ARE DONE. I'm paying you money for your service, and on the side, you take money from another company, BASICALLY THET PAID A TECH HITMAN, to try with all you have to make it a legal "hit", but, com'on now, it's still really and truly an IMMORAL action to install something sneaky and hope i dont notice.   8. Acrobat Pro 2024 (formerly Acrobat Classic) licenses cannot be managed by a Team account.

    This means they need to be registered to an individuals email address, where the individual can manage their own subscription independently of their IT team.

    The IT team also needs to separately track and manage many accounts for these licenses.

    Acrobat Pro 2024 licenses should be able to be registered to a team account and assigned to users in the same way subscription licenses are, or else activated with a serial key like in previous perpetual licenses so that sharing passwords with users is not necessary.

  12. When switching from Acrobat 64 bit 25.001.20432 to 25.001.20474 the licenses version is no longer shown. In the past it would show Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Acrobat Standard. It makes for easy troubleshooting licensing issues with end users. Would like that added back to Help and About.

  13. Users should be presented with a list of features that they want to install so that they are available when needed instead of having to wait for the feature to install when first used. This is infuriating when you are on a deadline and management is screaming for you to hurry up. Also, the notification is too small and can be easily overlooked making the user believe that the app is just broken.   15. The ability for Enterprise customers to assign a Reader type license to users who do not need full Adobe through the admin console that allows those users to sign into the Unified installer. Giving access to simple plugins that handle opening and saving to Document Managment Systems.

    This would allow the organizations who do not license all users to switch to maintaining Adobe updates through one installer/update and simplifies vulnerability scanning/patching.

  16. I use Adobe and have multiple PC's and tablets for personal use. The limit on a personal license is 3 devices, which is not enough in my opinion. I have to sign out of one, and sign back in to another at least 3 times a week. It gets old because I do not realize I am needing to sign in until my document freezes and pops up the sign in window. It delays my task and is very annoying. It would be ideal to give an individual person a license that is good for at least 5-6 devices at…

  17. Users must not to able install application from creative cloud without admin rights or any adobe app promotions as we will not be able to manage installation if it is not installed by SCCM and it is leading to over usage of licenses.

  18. Currently, a convoluted workaround involving downgrading an Acrobat Pro installation to a 32 bit version is the only way to allow licensed and unlicensed Acrobat users to use the same PC. There needs to be a more seamless solution for this.
