    The problem has not vanished. I use now the application menu bar to circumvent unsolicited e-signing pop-ups.

    I could not agree more. I have the same problem that whenever I start Adobe Acrobat DC for Mac a pop-up upselling a feature appears, indeed such as 'fill & sign'. I pay a sizeable, annual fee for this product and not for advertising. Apparently this annoying problem has not been resolved yet. How can I suppress this popping up of unwanted advertising on Adobe Acrobat DC for Mac?
