Agreed - please keep the old style UI as the default option for the future. If anyone really wants the "new experience", they are welcome to waste their time with it. From an efficiency perspective, the old UI may have not been perfect, but it was vastly superior to the new UI e.g. in regards to commenting tools.

I fully agree, we have several hundred people working with the commenting tools at our company, and having the new UI active is a complete waste of productivity. We have recommended to each and every one to deactivate this "New Acrobat Experience", and if this gets mandatory will definitely move away from using Acrobat (Reader and Pro versions) at all.

I agree wholeheartedly - the new UI is unusable for working with the commenting tools in a meaningful way. I need at least two additional clicks for inserting/replacing text now each time I want to replace/insert text, which is devastating from an efficiency perspective.

I could not agree more with you.
We're employing more than a hundred freelance editors who rely on the commenting tools for annotating text in our projects, and the new UI is much worse especially regarding text replacement and insertion. This is an efficiency killer for everyone who uses the commenting tools even in a semi-professional way.
