    Happy to share that this issue has been fixed in the latest release (Sep 2022).

    This did not fix the issue.  Fresh 64-bit installation updated to 22.2.20212 and it still defaults to the selection tool instead of the hand tool.

  2. Feature request - Give the user the option to choose default tool to be Arrow/Selection or Hand/Pan
