An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Paulina Michalowska commentedHi! I have the same issue! I'm using Version 2024.001.20643 | 64 bit.
When I want to add a space or indicate that a new paragraph should be added, I use Insert Text tool. I click where I want to add space/paragraph, the general insertion caret appears and when I press space bar or Enter I can't post the comment. The insertion caret doesn't change when pressing any of those keys. I can't post the comment, either.I follow this instruction: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/mark-text-edits.html (section: Insert text).
As you can see on this image, I've added the space and the Post function is grey and not active.
I hope this issue can be resolved!
Thanks!

Hi Riya,
thank you for your reply.
I do use different tools to make comments like “Add space” or “Create New paragraph”, they do work for reviewers or designers, but this is not our issue. Our issue is that the designer that is working in the editable file in InDesign (original PDF source file) can't use the Import PDF comments function to automatically add spaces or paragraphs, as per reviewer comment.
The Insert Text tool is one of the best features that improves the work in different Adobe programmes. All of our designers just accept the comments in InDesign to make automatic updates in the source file, which makes the workflow fast, convenient and precise. Using Insert Text tool for description of the change that has to be made is in my opinion the wrong user decision. We have other tools to describe those changes, insert text should be only for precise texts swaps.
Thanks!
Paulina
