An error occurred while saving the comment Austin commentedI too have noticed that upon opening a document with comments, the comments pane automatically opens up. I agree it takes up needed space to view the document and I always close it. I found in the Preferences under Commenting the option "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened" is selected by default. However, when I unselect this and click OK, it has no effect. The preference option reverts back to being selected, even after closing the application. Please fix this. (windows user)
Same issues here, annoying to have to close the All tools pane every time I open Adobe. I prefer seeing just my document, please fix to remember your preferences. I would switch to the old layout, but I had the impression that Adobe is rolling out the new interface as a standard, soon not to be optional?
