As a student, I read a lot of research papers, articles, and notes in PDF format, and Liquid Mode has been a great help for making them easier to read.

The one thing that bothers me is having to exit Liquid Mode whenever I want to highlight or mark something.

It would be a much better experience if we could highlight and annotate directly in Liquid Mode while keeping those edits reflected in the original PDF.

This would be especially useful for students and researchers. Please consider adding this feature!

I’d recommend taking a moment to map out the connections before making any moves. Start with the endpoints and identify which paths are fixed or have limited options, then work outward from there. If you get stuck, look for connections that would block another required route rather than relying on trial and error.

It’s a bit like solving **Letter Boxed**—sometimes the best approach is to look at the overall pattern first and work backward from the combinations you know must fit. Once you identify the critical connections, the rest of the puzzle becomes much easier to manage.

I agree with this feedback. Liquid Mode is a useful feature for certain PDFs, especially those with mostly text, but it doesn't work well for every document. Having it enabled automatically can add unnecessary loading time and often means switching it off before you can read the document properly.

A better approach would be to have the PDF open in its original layout by default and let users enable Liquid Mode only when they want it. That would provide faster access to the document while still making the feature available for files where it offers a better reading experience.
