The best workaround I have found is to print using Microsoft PDF. It works "OK" but not as nice as the old way.

In older versions of Acrobat I could "flatten" the pdf by simply reprinting the pdf to pdf. That method no longer works (using Acrobat Standard DC) because any comments or stamps are simply reproduced as separate items.

Is there a simple way to "flatten" the pdf? If not, like many others I have little need for the product and will seek other options. I have seen many users post the same question/issue and have yet to find a good response from ADOBE. Here is a link to the "old way" that worked just fine: http://www.umich.edu/~eresinfo/erpm/docs/FlattenPDF.pdf

    Thank you
