    Hi,
    You may have a tool interface open which is limiting your find/search options.
    At the top right of the window, below the "Share" button, there may be an oval "Close" button. Click that to close the selected tool interface.

    It should close that tool interface, while leaving the PDF open. Find options should now be changeable.

    Hi,
    Using Reader DC version 19.010.20098.54430, it seems to work as you desire.

    In the Help menu, you could try Check for Updates, and see if the new version resolves the issue.
