    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us.
There is an option under File Menu which could help you in that.

This menu item will open all the PDFs that were opened in the previous session when the Reader was closed .

    Hope this helps ?

    Thanks

    Hello Joe,

Sorry for the issue that you are facing while Using Acrobat Classic 2020 on you Mac BigSur 11.4 .

I tried this at my end on the specified version but couldnt reproduce it at my end.

    1) Could you please let me know what all operations are you doing in the PDF before saving when it gets Hanged ?
    2) Are you facing this issue every time with every PDF or it is specific only to some PDF ?

If you could share a screen recording video fo the complete workflow and the Test files with us, it would be really helpful to debug that further.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

    Hello,

When Acrobat Crashes (If you get this error message "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working") , Can you please share with us the Crash Logs .
    For Getting the Crash Logs:
    a. When Adobe Acrobat Crashes , Open Windows Task Manager
    b. -> Got To Processes, There you can see a process "Adobe Acrobat DC" / Acrobat.exe
    c. Right Click on this process and click "Create Dump File"
    d. Dump file will be created in the Temp folder of user (as specified on the dialog you get after creating dump files).
    e. Save this DMP file on any Cloud Storage and Share the link for that with us.

We will try to analyze your issue on priority once you share this information with us.

    Thanks,
    Ayush Jain

    Hello All,

Really sorry for the issue that you are facing while using Adobe Acrobat DC.

    1) If Repair Installation did not worked for either of you, Can you please try if Uninstalling and Reinstalling Acrobat DC solves the issue of Acrobat closing on its own?

    2) Could you please confirm when Acrobat closes on its own after some time, do you see any error message like "Acrobat DC has stopped working" or is it a silent quit of application without any error message ?

    3) If Acrobat Crashes (If you get this error message "Adobe has stopped working") , Can you please share with us the Crash Logs .
    For Getting the Crash Logs:
    a. When Acrobat Crashes , Open Windows Task Manager
    b. -> Got To Processes, There you can see a process Acrobat.exe

    e. Save this DMP file on any Cloud Storage and Share the link for that with us on mail.

You all can send the required information at ajain@adobe.com

    Thanks

    Hello David,

Thanks for reaching out to us for your queries.
If your page controls are docked in the top toolbar, the Hand and the select tool will always be visible on your Top toolbar by default. I see no way how these tools could be made to disappear from the toolbar (Unless we Explicitly Undock the Page Control) and then they appear as Floating window (HUD) .

However, as you are facing this issue, I would request you to kindly send me a snapshot of your Acrobat window in such a state when these tools are not visible for you.

you can send it @ ajain@adobe.com

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

    Hi,

    You can change this setting:

Open Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>General> Select the check box "Prompt before closing multiple files".> OK

Now you will get a prompt whenever you have multiple pdfs launched and you click the Acrobat Close button

Let me know if that solves your concerns ?

    Thanks
    Ayush

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us for your concerns.

If you want to use your Add-On Tools in browser, i would request you to kindly do as below

    1) Launch acrobat and go to Tools center
    2) search for Add on Tools in the Tools center and click on "Add shortcut". This way your javascript tools will be added to the Right hand panel of the Acrobat window(Tools Pane)

Now when you will launch a pdf in browser with acrobat, you'll be able to see those Add on tools in the Right hand panel in the browser as well.

Let me know if that solves your concerns ?

    HI,

If you want to collapse the Tools Pane for all the future Sessions,
    In Acrobat :
    1) Launch any PDF and collapse the Right hand panel(RHP) using the vertical collapse strip(with small triangle icon)
    2) Close acrobat and relaunch any file ---> RHP will appear collapse for every further session

If that doesnt work for you, Could you please confirm me your Acrobat version because this should be fix with the latest available patches.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain
