    We also had the same behaviour with W10 1709. The adobe support made us add the following registry key :
    Disables both updates to the product's web-plugin components as well as all services --> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown\cServices]"bUpdater"="0" (REG_DWORD)

    Since then, we no longer have any problems.
