    The loss of formatting was happening with all files. I ran the Adobe repair feature a couple of times more and it seems to have fixed the formatting issue. I still have the issue where I cannot save over an existing PDF file. If I have an existing PDF file that I created with Adobe from any software, I cannot change that original file and resave to the same PDF file. I get an error message that the "Adobe PDF cannot access the file because it is in use by another application or process". I have of course verified that the file is not open. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.
