    My solution to this problem was to go right ahead and just delete the AcroCEF.app. You can find it by going to the install location of AcrbatDC --> right click on the AcrobatDC.app and hit show package contents. From there you will need to open the "Helpers" folder. You will see the AcroCEF folder in which the AcorCEF.app is placed. I advise you to just duplicate the AcroCEF.app beforehand so that you have a copy in case anything goes wrong.
