   Yes. File > Save As > PDF workflow invokes Microsoft’s converter.
   Great to hear that your problem is now solved using Acrobat’s Save as Adobe PDF.

   I think i solved it:

   My normal way of creating a PDF from Word was F-12 followed by "Save As" then picking PDF from the list.

   Yesterday I tried File -> Save as ADOBE PDF and that worked - all properties transferred.

   It seems that the first way invokes a different converter (Microsoft's?) that does not transfer properties.
