  1. You can't perform simple tasks in the program anymore. You try to flip multiple pages so they appear in the correct direction and the program closes. You try to save a file and the information needed is blanked out with another bug. You try to use the stupid AI and it takes several minutes with each page.

I'm working for a large company with brand new computers. There is no issues with the internet connection. This is the only program that continuously crashes trying to do the bare minimum of features.

This is precisely why no one wants AI. It's…

  2. When I name fields so I can merge multiple templates of a doc, adobe crashes if I do not close out the properties box before clicking the next field. This started last week and has slowed my work to a crawl.

  3. Acrobat’s “Combine Files / Create PDF” tool does not support all file formats.

    Specifically:

.msg (Outlook email files) are only supported when Outlook is installed and configured, and even then, they are not recognized when browsing a folder in bulk.

.ica (meeting / calendar-related files) are not a supported input format for Acrobat conversion.

  5. It would be great if there was an option when using the Windows explorer [right click] > "Convert to Adobe PDF" or "Combine files in Acrobat..." to automatically enabled the default editing security restrictions on the new PDF. Restricting editing, printing, etc.

  6. Acrobat version: 2026.001.21529, 64-bit
    Windows: Windows 11 Pro, 64-bit
Office: Microsoft 365 Word / Current Channel, Copilot-enabled subscription ("Premium") [Microsoft Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2604 Build 16.0.19929.20106) 64-bit]
Add-in: Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin
    DLL path: C:\Program Files\Acrobat DC\PDFMaker\Office\x64\PDFOfficeAddin.dll

    Problem:
PDFMaker launches normally and preferences are editable, but Word crashes mid-conversion.

    Important clues:
    - Crash occurs with normal Word launch and with Word run as Administrator.
    - Acrobat repair completed successfully but did not fix the issue.
    - Adobe online Word-to-PDF converts the same DOCX successfully.
    - Disabling “Enable Accessibility and Reflow with tagged Adobe PDF” and/or bookmark…

  7. There is an outstanding bug in Adobe Acrobat Pro where the Colour Management Profile is randomly corrupted when creating or opening PDFs, and this is still occurring with the latest update, 2026.001.21483. A blue overlay gets added to the document and you keep having to go back into Color Management and mess around with the configuration settings to eventually remove it. This appears to be more aligned with Calibrated HDR Displays in WIndows 11.

Come on Adobe, this is unacceptable for a Paid Product!! Can you please fix this, as it been reported on and off in your Community Forums…

  8. BUG-Report:

  10. Hi everyone,

I currently have around 50–70 PDF forms in separate files, and each one contains a section where I need to enter the exact same information. Manually filling them one by one is taking too much time, so I’m looking for a more efficient solution.

Is there an easy way to populate the same data across multiple PDF documents at once? Also, what software or tools would you recommend for this task?

Any suggestions or workflow tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance survival race !

  12. If I have a Word document with table/figure captions and use Microsoft Word 365 to create a PDF (save as pdf), Caption tags are created in the tag structure.
However, if I use Adobe Acrobat Pro (Adobe PDFMaker 25/Adobe PDF Library 25.1.5) to create a PDF, Paragraph tags are created in the tag structure instead.

  13. I'm having issues when creating links in a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat (Pro) (Continuous Release | Version 2025.001.21288 |64-Bit).

When I create the link to another PDF while the original PDF is in location A (a network location, that is addressed with the absolute location: \netServer\netFolder\fileName.pdf), the link works fine and the linked file is opened in Adobe Reader displayed.

This is how the link is created (German version):

Verknüpfungseigenschaften > Aktionen > Aktion hinzufügen > Aktion auswählen > Artikel lesen
Aktionen > Datei öffnen > File

    English should look like this:

    Link Properties > Actions tab > Select…

  14. When creating or editing PDFs in Acrobat Pro and saving to PDF/A (particularly PDF/A-2 and PDF/A-3), the resulting file often contains multiple embedded subsets of the same typeface, and in some cases complete duplicate font programs. This significantly increases file size and reduces structural clarity without improving visual fidelity or compliance.

    The issue commonly arises when:
    • Combining or editing documents generated from different source applications.
    • Incrementally editing PDFs multiple times.
    • Adding content that triggers additional font subset embedding.
    • Merging files that contain separately embedded subsets of the same font.

Over time, a single document may contain…

  15. When I create a PDF from Microsoft Word 365 using Adobe Acrobat Pro (Adobe PDFMaker 25/Adobe PDF Library 25.1.5) with more than one floating figure, the second figure element is not placed in the desired location in the tag structure.

The second figure element is placed, as it seems, randomly. The amount of other text in the document also affects the placement.

However, if I use the online service (Adobe PDF Service), the second figure element is placed in the desired location in the tag structure.

  16. ssue: Acrobat Pro Hangs on Sequential Folder Processing

Summary: Acrobat Pro becomes unresponsive when attempting to load a second folder of PDFs immediately after saving/closing a previous batch operation.

    Steps to Reproduce:

Use "Combine Files" or "Action Wizard" to load a folder containing multiple PDFs.

Complete the process (e.g., Combine or OCR) and Save the resulting file(s).

Close the active document/tab but keep Acrobat Pro open.

Attempt to load a different folder of PDFs using the same method.

  17. We cannot easily reorder documents after grouping them in a list. It would be nice to be able to type the number under the oder tab to change the order in the list after grouping them. Moving them with a mouse is glitchy and frustrating.

  18. In the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, attempting to combine multiple JPG files of varying pixel dimensions and DPI into a single PDF causes the application to close abruptly without any error message. This occurs consistently when at least one image in the batch differs significantly in resolution or aspect ratio from the others.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    Open Acrobat Pro (latest build).

Go to File → Create → Combine Files into a Single PDF.

Add multiple JPG images with different dimensions/DPI (e.g., mix of 300 DPI A4‑sized scans and smaller 72 DPI images).

    Click Combine.

    Expected Result:Acrobat should successfully…

  19. When I convert word files into one pdf (right click after selecting documents, option "combine files to pdf") it no longer shows the markup column or highlighted changes from the word documents in the finished pdf file.
I now have to print every single word document as a pdf, then it shows the markup and changes. It takes a lot of time, which honestly nobody has.
It worked 1,5 months ago, please look into this, I need this option daily!

  20. The Save As experience in Acrobat on Windows 11 is extremely frustrating for real‑world workflows. When I create a PDF from an Office document (e.g., PowerPoint), I want the PDF to save in the same folder as the source file or at least be easily reachable via Windows Recent Folders. Instead, Acrobat shows its own “Home”/Recent UI that ignores Windows’ Recent Folders shell and often doesn’t default to the source document’s folder. This forces extra navigation steps every time. Please add options to (1) always default Save As to the source document’s folder and/or (2) surface Windows Recent Folders directly…
