I followed these steps and this resolved my issue:

The following steps, in the order listed, fixed the issue for me:
1. Delete "SLStore" folder located at c:\ProgramData\Adobe
2. Reboot
3. Launch Acrobat
4. You should now be prompted to login and the program should function normally
