I installed a WD 128GB SSD in my old laptop a few months ago to speed it up for basic everyday use, and at first the performance improvement was noticeable. Recently though, the laptop has started booting very slowly again, and sometimes the SSD disappears from BIOS until I restart the system a couple of times. I already reinstalled Windows and checked the drive health, but the issue still happens randomly. Now I’m wondering if the SSD is starting to fail or if it could be related to the laptop’s SATA connection. Any advice would really help before I spend money on another drive.
