An error occurred while saving the comment PJ commentedAdditionally (I may have missed this above, but I didn't see it) - bring back the option to either open each PDF in a new window OR under Preferences, General, to 'Open documents as new tabs in the same window'. For my job it's critical to be able to open each file in a new window (yes I know there are workarounds but even those cause other issues I won't get into here). For others having everything open in the same window may be fine - but in the new version we lost the ability to choose via settings. Please stop removing the existing methods for customizing for our needs, that are present in the old version.

An error occurred while saving the comment PJ commentedI've been trying to get used to the new version for a few days, I keep thinking "I'll get used to everything being in one window". I can't tell you how many times in the last few days I've accidentally closed all of my files.
Manually moving tabs into new windows is problematic because sometimes they're hanging off the screen, then I have to waste time trying to get them where they belong. It's a major slowdown to my workflow that used to just... work perfectly.

Shashank Jain suggested we check out the link to see what changed, to make our transition easier and to understand why they made these changes that turned our worlds upside down. I just spent a little time on that page, and I see a lot of "our users didn't know about certain features" and "our users had a hard time with X" to explain their reasoning.
I have 2 questions now - where are all the comments from users that say "yay you completely changed the program, now it's so much better!"? I've seen nothing like that, only comments from other users like myself who are struggling to use what worked perfectly before.
I mean, seriously.... you even moved the save icon from the left to the right. Every other program that's used in my workplace has the save icon on the left.
My second question is - how long will we be able to revert back to the version that functioned well for those of us who use Adobe all day, every day?
