open new window
Hello Adobe support,
I cannot find the setting to deactivate "open documents as a new tabs in the same window" (I want a new window for each!) under [preferences > General > Basic Tools] anymore since the latest update. Please can you let me know where I can turn this off? I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader MUI (23.003.20244).
Thank you and regards,
Patrick

Being able to open files in tabs is great. Not being able to open them in new window seems very bad.
Let's imagine a user that need to compare files side by side.Ok, now there is the option to use old interface.
But something tells me that some day you'll take off the option. Aren't you? -

Very odd that a newer version of Acrobat would have LESS functionality. Not sure what they were thinking. This is a huge pain. Looking at other PDF editors because of this.

I've been trying to get used to the new version for a few days, I keep thinking "I'll get used to everything being in one window". I can't tell you how many times in the last few days I've accidentally closed all of my files.
Manually moving tabs into new windows is problematic because sometimes they're hanging off the screen, then I have to waste time trying to get them where they belong. It's a major slowdown to my workflow that used to just... work perfectly.

This is extremely important to me. It really disrupts my workflow having to manually move tabs into new windows.

Adobe Acrobat 2023 ("New Acrobat") needs the option to open each document in a new window.
This should be possible without disabling New Acrobat.
