    After using Abbyy Finereader for 5 years - happily and productively - I had to switch to Acrobat Pro at my new company. I thought it would be good, maybe even better than Finereader. But, the current Acrobat Pro might be the worst pdf reader/editor I've ever used and this ridiculous bug of duplicating useless taskbar buttons is among the many reasons why. I'll be moving on from Craprobat ASAP.
