Works for keeping the Stamp Tool selected in one open document. But when you are reviewing multiple docs (e.g. invoices that need an approved stamp) you have to go through the Stamp Tool selection for every document/invoice. It used to be possible to dock the Stamp Tool on the menu bar. You can't do that now. Productivity has been killed by the change.
