Not resolved!!!! Properties box comes up but it does NOT have the check box to keep the tool selected

This only appears to work for some tools; specifically, it does not work for the "Add text comment" tool. After every comment I type, the active tool returns to the Hand.

Keep a "Comment and Markup" tool selected in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

1) Select the tool you want to use (but don't use it yet).
2) Mac: Command + E (....Tool Properties)
3) Tick the "Keep Tool Selected"

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I followed the steps Arvind Yadav provided, but after pressed ctrl+E, only a small window of "Properties" pops up showing "No current selection". I couldn't do anything with it. Can't find "Keep tool selected" option at all.

I don't think this is resolved. This is a request to bring back the "Keep Tool Selected" function that has been taken away from Acrobat DC version.

Works for keeping the Stamp Tool selected in one open document. But when you are reviewing multiple docs (e.g. invoices that need an approved stamp) you have to go through the Stamp Tool selection for every document/invoice. It used to be possible to dock the Stamp Tool on the menu bar. You can't do that now. Productivity has been killed by the change.

Apologies for late response!

Please find the steps to use "Keep Tool Selected" in DC for Stamps or other commenting tools:
-Open any PDF
-Load comment app
-Choose any stamp --> stamp gets selected, please don't apply the stamp on doc.
-Now press ctrl+e on Windows or cmd+e on Mac -->Tool properties opens and "Keep tool selected" is available here.

In XI for example, there was a checkbox for "Keep tool selected" for a stamp pad. That option is no longer in DC.

Missing in Adobe DC
