    Can you please elaborate more the issue you are facing with the File rename eg where and when do you want to rename the file.

    As a long-time PaperPort user I was able to manage documents with the file naming being a major organization tool. I do this today but it's frustrating that I can rename a document while it's open in Acrobat. The scanner named the file CCF11132019 but once I open it and see what it is I want to rename it 20191113-Company. Very simple and very easy to support.

    Note that Microsoft now offers this capability in Word both on the desktop and with OneDrive. It has become the norm.
