    Hi,

    Sorry for the issue that you are facing while saving the PDF.
    Could you please share the Crash report that appears after Acrobat crashes for you on you Mac system ?

    That’ll help us to triage this issue further.

    The cause of the problem was completely different from what I expected. I followed this troubleshooting guide: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-mac.html
    Apparently the bug was triggered by my Acrobat program preferences language being set to German ans my OS being in English. Once I set Acrobat to English, I could save my documents without crashes.
    To make this solution available to other users I will file another bug, that states the language settings in the topic.
