    I noticed that here the problem is discussed for Acrobat ("Pro"),
    but for me at least it is true for (Acrobat) Reader DC.
    so I created a separate thread for Acrobat Reader DC just in case, with a link to this page.

    but in any case this is very irritating and a very stupid thing to do all the time.

    Adobe developers, would you finally do something about it?

    yeah, or you can do
    1. Windows + R
    2. SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe
    3. check the "Show shadows under windows" checkbox
    4. "Apply"
