Acrobat Reader no longer closes after executing print command
This bug has been reported before. It was claimed that it was fixed in version 22.2.20191 (see this discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/adobe-stays-open-after-quick-print/td-p/13068306), but we can still reproduce it in current version 23.8.20533.
The problem is that when a print command is issued to Acrobat, the application opens, prints, but does not close again when printing is finished.
We have a customer needing to print batches containing hundreds of documents. Because Acrobat misbehaves, a batch will get stuck whenever a PDF is encountered. The only work-around we found in Acrobat is to manually close the application after each print job. Of course…

Elektronische Signatur

Ability to Move Files from Recent or Search (Among other things)
Why, for the love of all things good in this world, can't you move a cloud file out of 'recent' or 'search'. I do not understand the point of having a 'recent' files or search function if you then have to go back to your files, scroll through all of them, and then move the file.
Does this make sense to anyone? Anyone? Ferris? Bueller? No, of course not. It doesn't make sense! Please allow us to move files from recents or search!
Also, why is Adobe Reader so slow? It didn't used to be this. darn. slow. C'mon guys,…

Pages not fully loading in latest Windows 10 version
Pages do not fully load when using Windows 10 and latest version of Adobe, Adobe locks up and Windows 10 reports not responding, v.2024.004.20220 when using the "Execute a menu Item" script. Pages load properly in Windows 11, not tested other OS's. Pages also load ok when loaded direct from the disk.
We are using a menu pdf menu system and within this we open other pdf files, Code we use is
Execute a menu item
- Go to page in another document
- file path/name
- page 1
- zoom level fit pageProblem is probably caused by a…

Fix the Full Screen Navigation with Mouse Buttons
Used to be, in full-screen mode, clicking the left mouse button took you forward one page; clicking the right mouse button takes you back one page (that's still the way full screen preferences make it seem it should work). In the latest update, clicking the buttons sometimes advances or takes you back a page, but it sometimes also increases or decreases the zoom. Bug or feature? I don't know, but definitely annoying and needs to go back to the way it was before. Thank you.

Stop improving it. Keep it simple.
It is annoying that I have set pdfs to open in page width mode (though they don't always), but when I go to full screen view, the article is displayed in full page, not page width, mode.

The disappearing scrollbar is enragingly annoying.
STOP with the disappearing scroll bar! I know it's all the rage to remove functionality from desktop software but it's SUPER annoying! It makes me feel like my arms are bound above my elbows. I'm getting repetitive motion pain from having to click the arrow key repeatedly. Whatever happened to user-friendliness? This nonsense is user-HOSTILE.

AI Assistant Language Support
Hello, I work for one of the biggest banks in Turkey. There are 16.000 employees in our company and we all use Acrobat Redar Pro especially. But it is very sad that AI Assistant has almost no language support except English. Will you have a support package that includes Turkish? We are very excited to use AI Assistant.

Fix the broken behaviour when taskbar grouping is disabled
When multiple documents are open in tabs, if my Windows taskbar is configured to never combine taskbar buttons and hide labels, there is a taskbar button for every document, but nothing happens if I click on any of them except the first one (which is the currently active tab).
It should be fixed so that when I click on one of the other buttons Adobe Reader is raised and switches to the appropriate tab.
Or else the behaviour should be changed so that there is only one button on the taskbar (https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/926812-acrobat-reader-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/39686770-acrobat-reader-dc-shows-multiple-tabs-as-windows-o).

Bug: Print preview shows accessibility document modifications
Print preview should turn off all the accessibility modifications to how the document appears so that it accurately reflects what will get printed.
Otherwise, it is a very bad preview.Steps to reproduce:
1. Load a document with significant text and background colour customization.
2. Enable high contrast accessibility features so that the document now looks quite different on screen.
3. Open print dialogue. The print preview shows the document with the accessibility changes, but actually prints without them.
- (Optional) Print the document to verify that the preview was wrong.

The text controls on the Comments window, text clipped incorrectly
This is a bug report. The Comments window "Highlighted text" controls accept text input. After the control is automatically closed (e.g., by shifting focus) the static control replacing it shows the text incorrectly truncated on some lines.

Bug report: macOS Properties missing in print dialogue
This is still a problem on the latest version of Acrobat (as of Nov 25, 2024) with macOS Sequoia (but it's not a Sequoia problem, it's a problem with the printer Properties function in Acrobat Reader, not with the system dialogue for printing).
