1. Imprimir um MiniBooklet de 8 paginas

   Automatizar a forma de imprimir um Mini Booklet de 8 páginas.
   Existem os Booklets tradicionais em que se dobra a folha ao meio e existem os Mini Booklets em que se utiliza 1 única folha A4 para fazer o Mini Booklet

   O problema é que não é só imprimir, 4 das 8 páginas têm de ser viradas ao contrário para a parte de cima ficar no meio da folha e a ordem tem de ser alterada para se imprimir correctamente.

   Seguem em anexo os ficheiros PDF para ser mais fácil perceber.
   Porém o ficheiro 7.... está numa determinada ordem para imprimir no meu PDF Reader mas já já notei que em outras versões a ordem é diferente.

   Era bom poder selecionar o PDF e mandar imprimir e o Adobe Reader invertia e metia na posição correta.

2. Follow software conventions for intuitive use

   Acrobat flouts well-established software conventions. I'm not going to list all of the ones I've run across here. Frankly, I don't have time. For instance, Acrobat serves up an alert. For most programs, a user can quickly dismiss the alert box by hitting the escape key. Not here. Want to find the version of the software? Look under Help --> About. Not here. It's stunning how much Acrobat slows things down.

   I am requesting a feature that allows Adobe Acrobat Reader to inherit and display the custom Windows cursor theme selected in system settings.
   Currently, Acrobat Reader overrides the user’s system cursor and forces its own internal arrow, hand, and text‑select cursor set. Adobe support confirms this is intentional and that “the cursor does not use the Windows system settings.”

   This creates significant challenges in modern workflows.

   [Why this feature is needed]:

   -Accessibility: Many users rely on high‑contrast or custom‑colored pointers for visual clarity, visibility impairments, or ADA‑aligned accommodations.
   -Presentation clarity: During remote and hybrid screen‑shares, a custom cursor (such as a large bright pointer) makes it easy for participants to follow along. Acrobat is one of the few apps that does not respect system cursor themes.
   -Professional workflows: Project managers, engineers, educators, and healthcare staff frequently present PDFs. They need consistent cursor visibility across applications.
   -System consistency: Nearly all Windows applications inherit the user's cursor theme—Acrobat not doing so creates a jarring exception.

   Please add an option in Preferences to:
   -Use Windows system cursor theme (shape + color + size)
   or
   -Allow users to choose a custom cursor file (.cur) within Acrobat.

9. Acrobat Reader freezes after opening PDFs (v25.001.2111_x64, Windows 11)

   Since around January 12, 2026, an issue has been occurring with Adobe Acrobat Reader (25.001.2111_x64),
   where opening a PDF file from the desktop by double-clicking it causes the application to freeze a few seconds after the file is displayed.
   This issue has been confirmed on multiple machines.

   【Issue】
   - The PDF is displayed normally.
   - A few seconds later, the application becomes unresponsive ("Not Responding").
   - User interaction becomes impossible.
   - The application must be forcibly terminated via Task Manager.

   【Environment】
   - Windows 11 Pro
   - Reproduced on multiple machines
   - Occurs on PCs with different hardware configurations
   - Adobe Acrobat Reader 25.001.2111_x64

   【Reproducibility】
   - The issue often does not occur immediately after Windows startup and user logon.
   - However, after working for approximately 8–10 minutes after login, the issue begins to occur.

   【Troubleshooting Performed】
   - Uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Reader → no improvement
   - Same issue confirmed on multiple machines
   - Occurs regardless of PDF file type

   【Workaround】
   The issue no longer occurs after performing the following steps (currently under verification):

   1. Restart Windows
   2. Launch Acrobat Reader
   3. Go to Preferences → Security (Enhanced) → Uncheck “Run in App Container”

   【Recent Environment Changes】
   - Windows Updates were applied around the same time period
   - However, the root cause has not been identified

   We would appreciate it if you could inform us whether this is a known issue and if there is any investigation in progress or available workaround.

    I’d like to share feedback based on a recent real use case.

    I subscribed to Acrobat (trial) solely to review and sign a single PDF contract. During the process, I encountered confusing behavior around signature warnings and version switching (e.g. being forced into a “signed version” where all editing and signing were disabled, with instructions to “save a copy” but no clear or usable way to do so).

    As a non-frequent user, it was difficult to understand the document state or how to proceed, even after following on-screen guidance. The friction was high enough that I canceled the trial despite still being within the free period.

    I believe this reflects a broader gap for low-frequency, task-based users. Many people only need Acrobat for one document at a time. A single-use, feature-limited, or short-term (task-based) pricing option could significantly lower the barrier for these users and potentially convert more occasional needs into paid usage.

    Acrobat reader 2025 scrollbar is too narrow and especially the slider location in it very hard to see.
    Improve it or give user ability to change the appearance.
    Very difficult to understand why it was changed from good to annoying.

    Since an update last week (2/12/24) or week before Adobe reader on windows crashes when you try to drag a document by its tab to become a new reader window - this has made it very difficult to work with multiple documents you want to view simultaneously

19. Windows Accessibility tools not available

    Windows has many useful accessibility tools, e.g. high contrast, black background and white type, etc. These are exceptionally useful to those who are READING pdf files but are missing in ADOBE READER!

20. Name for AI

    I coach AI as a job.

    I think Adobe should name their AI agents (we can all agree its probably the same one) dependent on the program used to access it.

    Eg-Acro (branded, gender neutral) or Betty (cute, alliterative - Betty the acroBat) for the acrobat reader program, for an image give it a cartoon bat with glasses/holding a file in its paws.

    This sort of update helps users personify and interact with AI in a calmer way.
