1. Since an update last week (2/12/24) or week before Adobe reader on windows crashes when you try to drag a document by its tab to become a new reader window - this has made it very difficult to work with multiple documents you want to view simultaneously

2. In order for people with disabilities to be able to read documents that are scanned / images, consider having a disability feature that can be engaged in the standard version. It would be amazing for those of us who can't afford pro and don't need it for any other reason than that. Not being able to use text to speech or even highlight text means many of us have an extremely difficult time or can't read the documents at all without this feature.

3. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC free version needs to remove all of the features that require an upgrade to a paid version. It's maddening to try to navigate your UI with an overwhelming number of features pitching you an upgrade. If I wanted to upgrade, I would. Your toolbars on the left and right crowd out the document and make it almost impossible to see a full page on half of a 15.6" laptop screen. Please, please, please stop pushing products on those of us who just need your free version.

4. When opening a PDF in Adobe Reader and immediately clicking on File > Save As, the option is greyed out. Only after clicking on another menu item and returning to File does the Save As option become available. This behavior is consistent and reproducible. It appears to be a UI initialization issue.

5. I have created a PDF document by exporting it from a DOCX file. The document contains 23 links but only one of them works. Hovering over each of the 23 links produces a pop-up that displays the link however, clicking on the link produces no result (except for one of the links). If I open the document in a web browser, the links work as expected.

6. How can the following message be permanently disabled?
"This appears to be a long document. Save time by reading a summary. View Summary"
I already ticked "Don't show messages while viewing a document" in Preferences -> General, but it ignores this.
I am losing productivity because this message shifts the chart data each time.
Adobe CANNOT GENERATE A SUMMARY OF 28 PAGES OF CHARTS! Adobe Acrobat Reader 2025.001.20474 is too stupid to detect that there is no free text in these pages ... only 2-axis charts created from LaTeX using TikZ.
Please add an option never to show these useless…

8. In the Bookmarks pane, the mouse wheel does not scroll like it should (and used to). Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines are affected, with both Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

9. The "Create Links from URL" doesn't seem to be working properly in the latest version of Acrobat Reader x64 (20474). Windows 11 x64
Text URLs are read correctly when you hover over them, but you cannot click on them any longer to launch the URL in a browser. If you copy and paste the URL, the end few characters of the URL is missing when pasted.

10. As financial analysts at https://weavemoney.com, we need to search across multiple PDFs simultaneously with more advanced filters. The current search functionality doesn't support complex boolean operations or metadata filtering effectively.

11. As a content creator managing an informational blog about Dutch Bros Menu and Prices
, I frequently use Acrobat Reader to organise and present updated menu PDFs and pricing guides for readers.

I would like to suggest improving Acrobat Reader’s navigation experience — specifically, making bookmark creation easier and more flexible for creators like me who deal with structured informational content.

Features like automatic bookmark generation from headers and easier internal linking would significantly help users who work with organized documents such as food menus, catalogs, or detailed guides.

Thank you for considering this idea to…

12. Dear Adobe,

You've managed to create something truly unique: a series of hidden shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+L/K/J) that blow every single tab into a separate window like a Michael Bay movie — but you forgot to include any way whatsoever to put them back into one window. No “Merge all windows,” no “Revert to tab view,” not even a humble “Are you sure you want to scatter your documents across the screen like confetti?” prompt.

This isn’t a feature — it’s a trap. One accidental key combo and the user spends the next coffee break dragging PDFs from one window to another…

13. Two clicks are required to change the Highlighter tool color through the Comment Tools Tab.
By allowing users to add individual colors to the Tools Tab, one could change colors with one click.

(Three clicks are necessary if you're changing the color of a highlight after highlighting: click to select highlight > click 'change color' > click to select desired color)

I - and I believe, plenty of users - color code with the Highlighter tool, yet, changing colors requires too many clicks, especially when one is changing between colors frequently. It also creates a hassle to the reading flow.…

15. This bug has been reported before. It was claimed that it was fixed in version 22.2.20191 (see this discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/adobe-stays-open-after-quick-print/td-p/13068306), but we can still reproduce it in current version 23.8.20533.

The problem is that when a print command is issued to Acrobat, the application opens, prints, but does not close again when printing is finished.

We have a customer needing to print batches containing hundreds of documents. Because Acrobat misbehaves, a batch will get stuck whenever a PDF is encountered. The only work-around we found in Acrobat is to manually close the application after each print job. Of course…

18. Why, for the love of all things good in this world, can't you move a cloud file out of 'recent' or 'search'. I do not understand the point of having a 'recent' files or search function if you then have to go back to your files, scroll through all of them, and then move the file.

Does this make sense to anyone? Anyone? Ferris? Bueller? No, of course not. It doesn't make sense! Please allow us to move files from recents or search!

Also, why is Adobe Reader so slow? It didn't used to be this. darn. slow. C'mon guys,…

20. Description:
Choosing the right platform for an engaging and enjoyable gaming experience can be challenging with so many available options. Users often struggle to identify the key features or benefits that match their preferences and expectations.
