Help! New to Adobe. How do I delete unwanted documents?
Hello Acrobat Users,
The ‘delete’ option is already present in your Home Screen Recents/Starred File List. You can also use this option by navigating to the File Tabs/ or in Search results. This works on multi-select as well.
Please let us know in case you have any more issues around this.

There is a real but ignored need for mobile Adobe users (free version) to be able to delete any files downloaded through ADOBE!
The free desktop/laptop version allows for this basic action & more, but apparently you need to have a subscription -via help section- to do this mobily.
I love document cloud so I've been hanging in there. My work around is to use hancom office s viewer, samsung print service, or even microsoft word to initially open anything I download...Which Is, I admit, So Ridiculous! Then I open it using Adobe to get a more crisp & functional view of it. That's the only way I can delete it from my files or storage...it's Beyond Sad.
I think Adobe is deliberately trying to force mobile users to upgrade for this basic feature...& It Is Not Too Much to Ask For, so Add It to the Free Mobile Version Adobe!
FYI: The link provided last July (by your acrobat team) redirects to a blank page, Shame. -

I'm with some of the other comments that I am deleting this app from my phone because it's ridiculous that there is not a delete option for individual documents. Don't waste my time!!!!

New that new. It is evident by the comments that THERE should be an easily located delete command on the main page. You know what, I think it's totally incompetent of Adobe to see the same, very significant complaint I have that was posted over 10 days ago, and SOME IDIOT IN YOUR COMPANY CHOOSES TO IGNORE HIS/HER RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT THE DELETE COMMAND ON THE MAIN PAGE OF THE DOCUMENT WHERE IT BELONGS, INSTEAD OF FORCING ME TO VENT BECAUSE I HAVE READ, MORE THAN ONCE, THE SEQUENCE OF DRAWN OUT INSTRUCTIONS (MY, HOW CLEVER YOU ARE FOR KNOWING IT BY HEART, AND TISK, TISK, YOU ARE BORED BY THOSE OF US THAT EXPECT/DEMAND THAT ADOBE GET WITH THE U S E R
F R I E N D L Y PROGRAM AND SIMPLY ADD A DELETE COMMAND AS ONE OF THE SELECTIONS IN YOUR TOP RIGHT CONTROL PANEL, AND STOP BOTH WASTING THE TIME OF YOUR USERS, DELIBERATELY LEAVING THEM TO POST YET ANOTHER COMPLAINT AS YOU SEEM TO LIST EVERY OTHER OPTION IMAGINABLE (regardless of how obscure and rarely used many of them are), AND STOP SMUGLY CONSIDERING US SIMPLETONS WHO TASK YOU FOR WHAT YOU EVIDENTLY THINK IS AN UNNECESSARY, ALBEIT EXTREMELY SIMPLE FIX--YOU (MEANING EVERY ADOBE WORKER/ MANAGER/EXECUTIVE WHO BOTHERS TO EVEN LOOK AT ALL THE POSTS, WHICH, CONTRARY TO WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING THIS SITE, AND USING THE COMMENTS TO IMPROVE BOTH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND YOUR PRODUCT'S EASE OF USE. Why in the world are you, Adobe et Al, ignoring and ignoring, and allowing the previous posts to illustrate to newbies to this page just how shamelessly you let the knowledge that past complaints have been brushed aside repeatedly by staff who are still IGNORING THE SAME VALID COMPLAINT: THE DELETE COMMAND SHOULD BE AN OPTION ON THE MAIN PAGE, JUST LIKE WE EXPECT IT TO BE. Aren't your customers worthy of a user friendly product, or do we need a manual to look up how to perform basic commands? Please email me if and when you fix this embarrassing lack of foresight you have apparently been refusing to correct. Thanks. -
