I very agree. This will be useful request. But would like to suggest, not just able to support 2 pdf at same time, but also able to open same pdf too. This is very useful, when we want to read 2 different sections of the SAME pdf in multi window mode.

For your reference, Apple OS has pdf reader (called margin note ) with split view feature, abeit it does not split using multi windows, it creates split view within the app (similar to microosft word).
