Uno Online begins by shuffling the deck and dealing seven cards to each player. The remaining cards are placed facedown to form a draw pile, with the top card flipped over to create a discard pile.
Players take turns clockwise, matching the top card of the discard pile with a card from their hand based on either color, number, or action. For example, if the top card is a red 7, players can play a red card or any card with the number 7 from their hand. The goal is to play a card that matches either the color, number, or action of the previous card.
