quit changing the UI
you don't need to make drastic changes to the UI. the simple '+' button on home screen is now something fancy. stop changing the UI just to show us a fancy gadget prob'ly no one asked for.
here's an idea, find out what menu items are most needed and reorganize them to something more ergonomically ordered. the only menu options I use repeatedly are rename and share. how about those be at the top of the list. make meaningful improvements instead of shoving features that no one asked for in our face.

I understand this frustration. UI changes should ideally make common tasks faster and easier rather than simply introducing something new for the sake of appearance. Prioritizing frequently used actions like Rename and Share, while keeping the interface simple and familiar, would make the experience much more efficient. Small, practical improvements can often be more valuable than major redesigns.
