I’m trying to figure out how other authors choose a publisher for a children’s book. When I search childrens book publishers Canada, I see quite a few different options, but they don’t all seem to offer the same thing. Some focus on traditional publishing, while others help with editing, illustration, printing, and distribution. I’m also wondering how much attention I should pay to rights and royalties before submitting. What did you check before choosing yours?
