An error occurred while saving the comment I am just a number. commentedMaybe not the same folder. Or have an option to have a default folder or use the folder that the file that is being split is located. Currently Acrobat will not allow me to split by bookmarks AND save to the same folder. I have to navigate to the the folder I just navigated to open the PDF. Makes no sense how this particular tool is to be used.

An error occurred while saving the comment I am just a number. commentedMy Split Output Option dialog window has those two options as mutually exclusive. I cannot pick "Use bookmark names for file names" and select "The Same folder Selected as Start" at the same time. Yet a work mate can. Nothing found in preferences impacts this. Please fix.

Although this is a good suggestion it is still too limited in scope. We need several options to the file naming. Bookmarks as a prefix or suffix or actual file name. The original filename should also be an option for prefix, suffix or "core" file name. Just need some options. Having to manually edit every file name that is output by the split consumes any time saved by using the split function.
