    This is Acrobat, not Reader. If I were using Reader, I would have posted in the Reader forum.
    Closing an unwanted feature EVERY time a file is opened is not an acceptable workflow.
    Going into Document Properties for EVERY file I have and selecting Initial View->Page Only is not an acceptable workflow.

    I understand that Adobe can't relate to this, but many of their customers are trying to be productive. Busy people don't appreciate useless unkillable features interrupting their workflow hundreds of times every day. Please try hiring some smart and productive people who understand that time is valuable.
