    If the loupe tool isn’t updating when you change pages, it usually means the preview layer isn’t refreshing with the new render context. I’ve seen similar behavior when the background process is still tied to the previous frame buffer. In cases like this, it’s worth checking whether your system is actually hitting a CPU or GPU bottleneck during page transitions. When hardware is maxed out, UI tools can lag behind updates. I ran into this while troubleshooting and used a quick calculator at https://bottleneckcheck.com/ to see if my CPU–GPU combo was limiting performance. It helped me figure out the weak link instead of guessing. Might be something to look into if the issue feels performance-related.

    You can make the hand tool the default option by trying:
    1)Look under Preferences> Acessibility
    2)Uncheck "Always display the keyboard selection
    3)Then select the Hand Tool.
    4)Close the program
    5)The Hand tool will now be default
