When I click on a link it says that the file you are trying to view requires Adobe 8 or higher.

I'm having the exact same issue as Jason on my android phone. It's not every time though because I was able to download a few pdfs from an email sent to me by a college administrator.

I to am having the same problem as Paul Ritter and Anonymous who started the thread. I hope the Admin gets this.
Ok so up until around two weeks ago, when I am on my Kindle Fire 8HD (which is an android device) and I am reading an article I want to download as a pdf file and read it later, I click download and about two seconds later an error message pops up with "the file can not be downloaded, please try to save it to your external storage" or close to that. But always before the past two weeks, when you clicked a file to download, it asked "do you want to download with Adobe or midi print etc.." But now it doesn't ask and before this started, I always download files with acrobat with no problem at all.. I as well have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled . Changed settings and always back to the error. For instance, I attempted to add a off file here. So to get a picture, if I would try to download this, I would get the error message. Can you see if this can be fixed and keep us up to date ? Also please email me With updates. Thanks Jason Willis -
